The Field Notes Pencil Kit pairs a 0.5 mm pencil for smaller writing and detailed sketches with a 0.7 mm pencil for everyday notes and broader pencil lines. Sage and sand barrels feature matching grid accents, with the lead size printed near each clip.

Both pencils use a push-button mechanism and refillable graphite lead. A lightly textured grip section provides a defined place to hold the barrel, and the integrated eraser handles small corrections. Spare lead and eraser refills support regular use.

A compact case keeps the pencils and supplies together for classes, meetings or casual drawing. The kit uses conventional HB graphite. It does not include automatic lead rotation or other specialized drafting mechanisms. Match the lead diameter to the pencil when refilling.

📖 Quick-Start Guide

1. Check the barrel's lead-size marking.
2. Click until a short lead section appears.
3. Write with light pressure.
4. Refill through the rear opening with matching lead.
5. Replace worn erasers and secure the rear cap.
